Fathers On The Front Line (FOTFL) Printable Flyer
Carver Middle School has been selected to participate in a new District Initiative, sponsored by The Department of Support Services, Fathers On The Front Line (FOTFL).
This program is a “boots on the ground “male role model support system that will interact with students and provide non-contingent attention, encouragement, and support. Although entitled “Fathers on the Front Line,” this group welcomes all role models who are undisputedly quality men of the community striving to build strong children. We sincerely hope that you will join this mission.
The SDPBC, Department of Support Services is implementing this initiative and recruiting volunteers to donate time, gather as a collective unit, provide a positive presence and promote peace.
Fathers on the Front Line will proactively bring role models together as they take shifts to provide a physical and emotional safety net on your campus. It will be a caring, calming commitment designed to make a difference in the lives of children. Students will see FOTFL as they arrive in the morning, during class changes throughout the day, at lunch, while safely departing from school, and during appearances at extracurricular activities and events.
We are hosting a recruitment event Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 6:00pm. See the attached flier below and feel free to share it with your stakeholders.
Please review this video of a similar program developed in Louisiana.
All FOTFL participants will be required to complete the School District of Palm Beach County Volunteer application and orientation process through the VIPs program. Once District procedures are completed, volunteers will go through an onboarding/orientation process.
If you would like to recommend anyone for this initiative, please feel free to share the attached flier and this Recruit Information Form using this link:
